I don't like talking about myself, but every website has an "about" section right?

I moved a lot in my childhood; not much has changed in my adult years. After much hopping around in my childhood, I spent the majority of my teen years in the foothills of the Ozarks mountains in Oklahoma, which sparked my love for the outdoors and natural landscapes.

At the age of 16 the typical artist's story unfolded when my father handed me a small handy-cam for my birthday. I was completely immersed in the curiosity of capturing things and piecing it together on a giant jet engine-like eMac with about as much as ram as a 1st generation iPhone.

Many terrible videos later, and a high school diploma in my hand, I knew I wouldn't be satisfied in a career that was outside of the camera realm. I then applied to a film program in Grand Rapids, MI, which became the starting point of my career in the film industry.

For the past 5 years I have made a living in several states working freelance in the film/tv industry as an Assistant Camera & Operator. Recently I have begun delving into my true passions of creating my own visual narratives through living and still frames.
